The Marketing Unit role is to enhance the image and visibility of the Institute amongst CIT’s external stakeholders.
The Marketing Unit plan, organise and deliver a number of CIT promotional events throughout the academic year which include Annual Open Days, CAO Applicant Information Evenings, Experience Day for Transition Year students, Guidance Counsellors Information Day and Live Online Questions and Answers Sessions, to promote CIT as an Institute and the courses on offer.
The Marketing Unit visit secondary schools in the Munster region, presenting to students, guidance counsellors, parents and guardians, and also attend various national and local career exhibitions to represent the Institute, answer prospective student queries and deliver information on course detail.
